The following three steps are the most effective ways to get neighbors to join the OneRoof app and become a part of the community.
- Put Up Door Hangers - you can order door hangers here to share with your neighbors and get them to discover and download OneRoof. Once they set up their profile and join your building community, you’re already one step closer to growing your community. *This has been proven to be the most effective way to get your neighbors to join!
- Send Out Mailers - you can also request to have your building be mailed out with flyers to join the community here. Your neighbors will all receive mailers in their mailbox. This is one of the top ways that you can get neighbors to join your community without lifting a finger.
- Hang Posters - the last way you can get neighbors to notice the app, is to order 10 free posters here and put them up for more neighbors to see and join your community!
Once you’ve completed these 3 basic steps, it’s time to move on to a couple of word of mouth techniques.
- Referral Code - share your personal QR code to neighbors you meet in the hall or elevators. You can find this by going into the app and tapping “Grow > QR code”. When you share your QR code with a neighbor, and they join your building, you will get a referral credit.
- Recruit Help - ask your doorpeople to spread the word, tell the neighbors you know to invite their friends in the building, and use word of mouth to get others to join the community. You can ask your neighbors next door to you to spread the word to neighbors on the other side by speaking with them, or using sticky notes on their door. Get creative here! There is strength in numbers when it comes to spreading the word around the building.
